Also, don't forget to download and install the Precision Color print profiles designed to be used with their inks.

If you're planning on modifying your original set of carts so you can refill and use those in conjunction with your new set, I think you'll be OK. I've been refilling and resetting my original OEM set for my Pro100 from more than three years ago and no problems so far. If you wanted to verify they're OK before modifying, you could first run each cart through the resetter. If you get the double light flash on the cart I believe that's confirmation it will work in the printer.

Oh, and one other small thing. Buy some cheap surgical type gloves if you don't want to be wearing ink under your fingernails for days at a time.
