An innovative idea for Sony
2

Now that Canon has launched the R5c that looks like my Minolta Dimage 7 on steroids, here is an idea for Sony to stay competitive with a very low investment:

Implement outlines in the EVF of FF cameras that show an area after 1.5x and 2x crop. Fuji does it on the X-Pro2 (in the OVF). It helps framing for APS-C mode w/o actually using ASP-C mode. And 2x crop is all but no issue on the a7RIII, and could be even more on the a7RIV.The other advantage is tha just like on a real rangefinder, you can see what's going on outside the actual frame.

What do you think?
