Confession of a retro guy
1

I am a retro guy. I love the look and feel of Fuji cameras. In particular the x-pro and x-t, but also and in particular the x100. Look and feel like real cameras. Some machinery to operate. Requires a real man to handle it.

Now the confession part: I don't use those dials. Taking photos for me involves three controls (if you leave the focus part aside): Setting shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.

Now, my shuter speed and aperture are mostly preset to what I need for a certain scene. If I need to adjust, I use the aperture ring on the lens, the back dial on the camera to adjust shutter speed, and the front dial to adjust ISO. The front dial is key as I use ISO as my EV comp.

Fuji could remove the functionality of the dedicated shutter speed, ISO, EV dials from their cameras. I wouldn't even notice. They are in T or C or A most of the time, anyway. But what does Fuji do? They remove the front dial on the X-E4. Bummer.

So, yes, I am a retro guy
