A7R II to A7 IV or A7R IV - Is it worth it?

I've had a A7R II for about 4 years and its been very good overall for my main uses (landscapes and travel) during that time, but with the birth of a baby 9 months ago I'm starting to find some limitations. Mainly focus and overall system speed when dealing with a fast moving always active baby.

So I've been considering upgrading. The new A7 IV looks almost like the perfect upgrade to me, but I'm hesitant to loose the extra resolution for when I want to shoot landscapes in the future. Conversely, the A7R IV has the resolution (probably overkill) but seems to be a step backwards in a number of areas.

I can pick up a used A7R IV for about the same price or less than a new A7 IV. If you were in my shoes and wanting a great do it all camera to replace an A7R II, which would you get?
