My used $135 Canon STM 55-250mm lens

I love Olympus MFT cameras for everything I do except continuous autofocus, which I only do rarely.

In my camera stuff I have a 2013 Canon Rebel T5i with an STM 18-55 kit lens, I paid $250 in a pawn shop a couple of years ago.  Canon is going to kill off their DSLRs, not tomorrow but soon, and STM EF-S lenses for them are dirt cheap.

I bought a $135 Canon STM (latest style) 55-250mm telephoto that’s even stabilized, and it arrived today.

This is how an enthusiast amateur camera should focus.

My cheap plastic Canon Rebel didn’t hit every shot but it hit most of them.

I’m going buy an Olympus with PDAF.

But I think OMDS makes a mistake selling the PL-10 and M10.4 and P-7 without the best PDAF hybrid autofocus they can put in a camera.

Entry level DSLRs have had excellent autofocus for a very long time.
