Is Panasonic (& Sony) done with high end Bridge Cameras?

As the thread title says..

The FZ2000 came out in 2016 (over 5, into 6 years ago). The FZ1000 II nearly 3 years ago.

Sony's RX10 IV came out over 4, into 5 years ago).

So what gives, has a shift in market appetite (and more recently covid), relegated the concept of large sensor bridge cameras to the history books?

I would say though, being an owner of the original FZ1000, that Panasonic set their own bar so high when that camera came out, that even today, nearly 8 years on since it's release, It's performance, specs and capabilities still don't feel dated.
