X100V pre-purchase question

Hi. I’m on the brink of selling my Sony A7iii and f1.8 prime lenses for an X100V. Feels like a slightly kamikaze move, but after a free 48 hour loan from Fuji, it just feels like a positive move. I like the simplicity, the (hopefully) end of lens lust, and being able to pack like a ‘normal person’ when I go out for the day with the kids.

Now I shoot about 99% stills, but every now and then have been asked to shoot and edit some video. For school events, etc. So not professional, just helping out. Does anyone know - if I were to rent/borrow an external recorder like an Atomos Ninja, can the X100V shoot longer than 10 minutes in 4k? I’m probably only looking for a maximum of 30.

I’ve seen reviews of the XS-10 and X-T4, both within budget, which I’m sure are better for this kind of thing, but I keep having to remind myself that my A7iii rarely gets used because of the hassle factor, and these may suffer the same fate. Admittedly I’ve only handled the X-T4 and X100V.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
