I just want to know what the last two digits signify.

They signify CAPACITY as measured in milliamp-hours (mAh) or in Watts-hour (Wh). These are the stated capacities for the GENUINE Sony batteries you mentioned. Third party batteries that say they are "compatible" with the 530, 550, and 570 batteries might have DIFFERENT capacities than what the actual Sony batteries have.

530 = 1350 mAh

550 = 1500 mAh

570 = 2,200 mAh

So a third-party manufacturer might say that their battery is "compatible" with a Sony NP-F570 (which the genuine Sony battery has a 2,200 mAh capacity) even though that the battery from that third-party might have less capacity (or it might have MORE capacity).

The reason they claim it is "compatible" is because it has the same physical size and has the same nominal voltage of 7.2v
