Voigtländer lens on Sony FF

I wanted to see what are your experience with Voigtländer lens, especially with 35mm,40mm and 50mm ones.

I read different reviews etc but wanted to see what you guys here have to say about these.

Why are these so expensive, for manual lens?

I like nice bokeh, good DOF, nice low light photos and portraits. I don't want any of other brands lens, huge, heavy, expensive. I already have Sony 28/2 so 35mm is too close. I would be using them for everything, family photos, travelling, portraits low light photos.

I was looking at that Voigtländer Nokton 40mm F1.2, hoping it would be great for pretty much everything.

Of course I don't have funds for these just now, I would need to save a lot, but £500-600 might be in my range after some time. I'm just a hobbyist, so I do not earn money from photography. That means 50mm might not be in my range, as it looks like most expensive from these three.

I would be using them on my Sony A7II and maybe on Sony A7III in the future.

Would 40mm 1.2 be a good choice? Are these sharp, good in low light etc?
