Zoom lens for wildlife (Africa)

Hi all

I recently purchased a Nikon d3300 second hand and with it the Nikon AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED DX VR II lens. After going on holiday in Namibia I realised it is just a little bit too short for wildlife so I am looking at getting something to compliment it or just a more dedicated wildlife lens while the 18 - 200 will be my general purpose travel lens etc.

So I am looking at 3 possible options.

I can get a Nikon AF-S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6G ED VR in excelent condition second hand for about $250.

I can get a new Nikon Nikkor AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR for $285 on special.

Or possibly sell the 18 - 200 and replace it with the Tamron 18-400mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD for $585 second hand and then just use it for everything.

The lens will be used for big wildlife at moderate distances, maybe an airshow or two and some kids sports games every now and then.  So I assume focus speed matters and image quality at the far end.  Weight is not a massive issue as I dont see myself walking great distances with it. I'll be shooting out of a car or from the back of a game drive vehicle.  Also the photos will most likely mostly be shared on Facebook and instagram and I doubt I'll print out a lot.

Does anyone have any experiences with these lenses or can maybe just give me a bit of guidance.
