Consumer 70-300 vs S-line 70-300 vs 70-200 f4?
1

There was a poll recently about which of 70-200 f/4 S or 70-300 S you would buy if Nikon were to introduce both of them. But judging by the comments, some people were assuming that the 70-300 S was going to be significantly cheaper (around half price) and also a bit lighter than the 70-200 f/4 S.

Instead I will offer two different assumptions:

1) Being an S lens however, a prosumer 70-300 S would likely be significantly costlier than a cheaper consumer 70-300. Likely around twice the price of a consumer 70-300 - and maybe roughly in the territory of a prosumer 70-200 f/4 (within $200-300).

2) A 70-200 f/4 does not necessarily have to be heavier (and most likely will be similar weight to a prosumer 70-300 S lens).

Given these two assumptions, please vote on a new poll which adds a possibility of a consumer 70-300 in addition to prosumer 70-300 S and 70-200 f/4 S:

If you were in the market for a lightweight telephoto zoom, which of the following would you buy ?
