Does the R5 IBIS really help with EF lenses without image stabilization?

This matches what I've experienced on my R6. IBIS is really noticeable at 50mm (e.g. my Sigma 50 Art) allowing me to get away with slow shutter speed or sloppy holding technique with a moderate shutter. It is definitely less of a miracle worker with my EF 135 mounted, but it still helps.
