January 2022-4th roll in Leica IIIf with "cleaned and lubed" 3.5cm Summaron

Greetings Fellow "Filmies"

I got bitten by the Leica Film bug this summer when I stumbled upon a deal on a Leica IIIf with the 5cm, F3.5 Elmar lens.  I had the body fully repaired and shot and developed my first rolls of film in decades.  It has been fun!

This week, I bought a roll of Ilford HP5+ and took some images "out the window" for an assignment underway within my local photo club.  To broaden my view, I used my recently acquired and CLA'd (by me) Summaron 3.5cm, F3.5 lens.  Though I was unable to fully disassemble the lens for cleaning, it performs well.

I hope you enjoy them:

My office view-looking northwest.  Ilford HP5+ developed in Ilfsol 3.  Leica IIIf, 3.5cm Summaron lens

Office view to the west. The HP5+ held the cloud detail nicely.

A view out the atrium.  Lots of grain adds to the photo's feel.

I hope you enjoyed viewing these as much as I enjoyed making them!
