Good, thorough review, great examples and I find I agree with everything, except I don't have the issues with no MF clutch or Fn button like so many others do. I appreciate the "lean & mean" design with fewer moving parts to be compromised or add weight. I got my copy about the same time you did and I was immediately impressed by the sharpness as well as quality of the in-focus image AND bokeh areas. And boy, is the AF fast! Professionally I rely on my trio of f/2.8 zooms to produce the bulk of my work, which is where I deduct my half star (sorry, prime lovers, but I thrive on flexibility), but for traveling, museums and street stuff this lens suddenly just owns it. I can't wait to travel again and just. Take. This. Lens.
