I only have the 22mm at the moment, with the intention it would 'cover most bases' for my needs; mainly street and family photography (not neccesasrily portraits) with a little automotive (no action shots) and landscape. Shooting RAW and Lightroom for processing. I appreciate there is a high degree of recovery and fine tuning with the shots out of the M6II.

Left field question: would the 11-22mm lens be better or worse at 22mm, than the 22m f2.0 lens? If similarish, then the former would offer a bit more flexibility.

I find the 11-22mm slightly better than the prime for hand-held pictures of static objects in very low light because of the IS.  It gives me more of the subject in focus for the same amount of camera shake.  The zoom makes it much better for cars and worse for people, because cars can look good and very sleek from very close,  but people look worried, distorted and unnatural if you're too close to them. The prime has practically no distortion, the zoom at 22mm has even less and can fill the frame with slightly smaller objects.  The prime is better for people, stopping movement and for isolating the subject by controlling the depth of field.  I'm glad I have both, but I use the zoom a lot more.
