You Think Sony's Menus Are Bad??

I have been going thru the menu setting up stuff in my new X-T3. I haven't really "experimented" with Sony's new menus, but I hear they are way way better now. Having said that, I see inconsistency and some very unpleasant experience with Fuji's menus.
1) I used to have the X-H1 and in the flash set up there was the option for HSS, that's what that camera showed from what I remember but please correct me if I'm wrong, is been a while. In the X-T3, and I'm assuming is the same in recent Fuji cameras, there is nothing that says HSS. Why on earth is that? I was going crazy trying to figure that out, and in really TINY letters, there is a section where you have to select FP, by turning the wheel. The owner's manual says on page 234: "Some units support high-speed sync (FP)". Honestly, how stupid is that? FP means Flash Photography so why couldn't they just put HSS? I really don't get it.
2) after I'm checking out a specific part of the menu trying to find out what it means, the camera either goes to sleep mode or whether I turn it off myself, when I wake up the camera from sleep mode or turn the camera ON, the menu sends you back to the beginning to IQ and not to where you left off. Wow how annoying is that. You would think Fuji had enough time to fix that.
And now I have some technical questions, on page 136 it says that "Enabling Flicker Reduction disables the electronic shutter and increases the time needed to record pictures".
1) I thought that flicker reduction was best needed for electronic shutter because of the fluorescent/LED light issues. What exactly does (this) flicker reduction do in Fuji cameras? I'm a little confused.
Thank you
