u should really give m6II with m32 a try

I’ve thought about going back.

u didn't have the m32 when you had the m6II

My daughter makes this face to this day when I say silly things... M6 II + 32mm. Electronic Shutter to achieve f/1.4 in bright lit.

Yikes! -- and you gave up on this great light weight carry everywhere set-up that gets ss 1/16000 in bright light?

Regrets?

Yup.

New Years resolution? It might get fixed.

great - looking forward to seeing shots with 3d look like the one above - colors are great btw

Even though the 32mm is a blast, I miss the Samyang/Rokinon MF glass more. But, the 32 is more versatile with AF obviously.

MF and movement - nah

well outdoors the 56 f1.4 would be great for shots for you - I've never understood your aversion to the 90 FOV of the siggy 56. Heck, if indoors, that siggy 16 would rock for you

give the wife the m50II and zooms

the m6II and primes is for you

and for non-pro stuff, dxo PL5 is the great equalizer and the R becomes less needed to the point of selling out of the R for non-pro use

m6II is fun in the sun

I’m giving careful consideration this round on my “kit”. Apart of me senses my kit may be different this round. Things like the 15-45 which I had an aversion for, are now a staple. Likewise, I am giving consideration to the Siggy 56. The siggy 16 is a bit big for the M, IMO. The EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS likewise large but it’s hard to dodge the obvious usefulness. It’s a hard one.

.

Whether to go EVF-DC2 or EVF-DC1 is also being considered. Gravitating towards the 2 for its compact size and LED with the glasses friendly eye-cup. I didn’t have glasses when I had the EVF-DC1. It was convenient for tilting though. Choices…

Rokinon 21mm f/1.4 @ f/1.4

the m6II is about the m32 and primes

so it would not be going back but be going forward...

get a 16 and a 56 and run with the two m bodies and 4 primes (16,22, 32, 56)

critical mass-less

you'll not even need the R with that "mass-ive" 28-70

DXO PL5 with deep prime on m6II using F1.4 lenses obviates the need for the HEAVY R and F2
