Which would be one more reason to switch to a colour managed workflow. The output can be adjusted to anything in the future and then just rerender.

Isn't dynamic range orthogonal to (independent of) resolution? I.e. you can have 4K in SDR or HDR as well as 1080 in SDR or HDR?

Several years ago I've seen some HDR monitors developed for Hollywood studios. The picture was fantastic, the price as well. I do not see myself doing HDR work any time soon.
