Nature Video Setup: 6 UHD cameras on 40 acres, buried fiber, external drive--possible??

Hello all,

I'm way out of my element here but I'm looking for any recommendations on the feasibility of a made-in-jello plan. My wife and I have forty acres in Alaska off grid where land is affordable, beautiful, and filled with wild life. For example, brown bears which destroyed our yurt last winter and ate all our food (we have a cabin now thankfully). We are going to be doing some trenching in the spring and installing a ground mount solar array and I'm trying to think of all the things we might want to bury in our trenches to plan for the future.

One of the things we'd really like to do is put a half dozen or so high quality video cameras at various spots on the property to be recording video to a central external drive rack and then we'd like to create a mount to move the cameras (unless we can find one that has such a mount and an API allowing us to control it programmatically) and program some AI to scan the footage to look for wildlife and move/zoom the cameras to compile video that we can publish on a nature video channel. While we have some experience with programming, Raspberry Pis, and very basic networking we really have no experience with high quality cameras.

I've found it odd that a decade ago I could buy a tiny Sony HandyCam that could optically zoom for a long distance, yet I can't find any network camera that has that ability. So that's why I created the account here in the hope that I could get some pointers from people who have experience.

Specifically, the question we have is:

Can anybody recommend a video camera that has 6K quality recording, can operate outdoors 24/7 (I can build a housing if needed) and has 10X or so optical zoom that can be controlled programmatically and which will save footage over the network to an external drive via wire?

While I'm trenching power cables on the property that will hub-and-spoke connect to our ground solar array, I'm envisioning laying fiber optic or perhaps CAT6 or some kind of cable that can allow the cameras to all send their data back to an external drive dock where my computer program can access the video and analyze it to produce videos.  Wire runs would be 500 - 1000 feet in some instances.

Is this feasible? Any recommendations or assistance would be greatly appreciated so I can best take advantage of my adventure with trenching in the spring. Many thanks in advance!
