Z7 in DX or d500 for birding and wildlife?

d500 and z7 have almost the same pixel density so just use z7 in fx mode and crop later in pp. You could use z7 in dx mode for some reasons but i think you gain more to use it in fx. In fx you locate target faster, you track moving target better, you have better choice of composition and so on. Number of pixels on the target will be similar for both cameras (D500 will have just a few precent more).
