Hello

I used a long time the ist DS. And than a K5

You can imagine what a joy it was, when I worked with the K5 ISO 1600...compared to the ist DS ISO 1600. The pictures had so much headroom for a PP:

With the K5 I could go up to ISO 6400, but at ISO 8000, the PP was a endless decision how much I de-noise it and do lost the sharpness, or I kept the sharpness and had more noise:

Now this changed with the KP, where a ISO 8000 picture is for me well to handle in PP.

So, all what I will say is: we have cameras nowadays, like the KP, K1 II and now the K3 III, where ISO 8000 or even higher ISO's pictures have a lot headroom for the PP and which have less noise at the end, but the pictures look's still sharp. I think we sometime miss to celebrate, what we have now, when we have to use such high ISO's .

Nowadays, I don't do such pictures, as I had the pleasure to do for a dance school at this time, therefore:

Enjoy your new K3 III 's, KP or K1 II

Don't miss my new K3 ii 😆

for the high ISO pictures you may have to do

best regards KPM2

Aside from the cameras capabilities today..the pictures " both" are extremely wonderful.
