I'm concerned about Viltrox lenses being clickless on the aperture though. I tried a Meike 35mm and because it was clickless, I kept finding the aperture would get changed too easily. Really off putting for me.

You can stop worrying, the Viltrox 85 mm does not have an aperture ring, you control aperture with the front wheel of your camera.

I wouldn't pay too much attention when people tell you that "you have to buy this or that" if I were you. It's not because one person loves a lens that you're gonna love ii too.

For instance, I had the 16 mm f1.4, which is highly praised on internet, and didn't like it. It's very personnal, this is why I suggested you try the lenses before buying them.

I wasn't sure to like the 90 mm focal lengh enough to justify such money spent, so I bought the Viltrox 1st and used it for 5 months. It convinced me it could be very useful, especially for taking candid portraits of guests during weddings. Then, I sold the Viltrox and bought the Fuji 90.

But the 56 F1.2 is still my favourite lens, alongside the 35 mm F1.4. I've been using those 2 lenses extensively since 2014, so I know exacly what they can do. And I disagree with 2 statements I read above : the 50 mm F2 doesnt allow you to make the same photos, and yes, I mainly use the 56 between f1,2 and f1,6.

I know other photographers who never liked the 90 f2 and sold it, and other who never got along wirh the 56.

My point being : this is very subjective and personnal. So we can't choose for you.
