Hello,

I am considering buying one of the 3 cameras.

I am also choosing the color of the camera.

Here are my questions that would help me with the decision a lot:

1. Are any of the models have top and/or bottom parts made from metal?

2. According to this article (https://mirrorlesscomparison.com/fujifilm-vs-fujifilm/xe4-vs-xs10-vs-xt30/), xt30 and xe4 have magnesium top parts. However, I have touched at xt30 before, and it felt like plastic. It would be great if anyone can confirm this.

They're definitely metal. (Not sure about the X-E4, but pretty sure they're all painted, black and silver. No problems with any of my black Fujis holding up with normal use. My only silver Fuji is the X100V, which has a solid aluminum top plate. The dials etc. are definitely easier to read on the black cameras.

3. Is there a variation of materials between different colors? I notice in the marketing page of xt30 that the texture for the black version and the silver version looks pretty different.

The silver ones do appear slightly more textured to my eye. The black finish is very smooth.

Thank you so much for the answers

I am using canon, but I have been wanting to switch to fuji for years.

I probably like the X-T30 the best of this bunch, the X-E4 the least, greatly preferring the extra control and customization options I would get with the older X-T20/X-T2.
