YouTube site now dark mode after Firefox upgrade

Posting this just for the geek mystery factor. I don't view this as significant by any means. Pretty much just fodder for nerding-out if anyone feels like it.

Earlier today I upgraded to Firefox 95.0. Strangely, YouTube now has a dark mode appearance in the browser. I’m not complaining in the slightest because I very much prefer it. I’m just kind of scratching my chin going “Hmmmm…” because I can’t imagine why upgrading my browser would have caused a change to the appearance of the YouTube site.

This change occurred on both my Win 10 machine and my Mac and it’s only Firefox. Viewing YouTube in Edge on Windows remains with the standard white background as it also does in Chrome and Safari on the Mac. It’s just Firefox. Additionally, I have never once logged into the YouTube site from Firefox on either machine so there can’t be any YouTube user preferences involved. The only FF extension I have installed on both my computers is uBlock Origin and it shows as last being updated four days ago.

Anyone else experience this or have any guesses as to what's going on?
