....are useless. Here's something from 2005;

Today I got my Fuji 9000 from Dell. I was very excited to use this camera but when I started using the camera, I got the shock of my life. Out of 20 indoor shots, 2 came ok but not as sharp as my lovely S7000 results are (no match to S7000) and rest were not sharp and were very dark. When I was taking pictures of my wife, say around 10 feets away, she interrupted me and said "why this camera is making so loud clic-click noise"? I found out, when camera was trying to focus it was making real loud noise, pretty much audible 10 feets away... I have sunpack 383 flash, and pictures were pretty dark as compared to the same settings on S7000. Finally all the control buttons of 9000 feels like cheap plastic, I was scared to turn 9000 on and off, as I felt that the on/off button is going to break in a day or two.

Most of us review cameras based on other people review but I got the camera today, tested out and not at all impressed with it. I am going to return it and wait for another one......... till then I will keep S7000.

Thanks
Ron

Desiwiz claimed the s9000 felt cheap and plastic and he felt the camera would break. Well, I bought one in 2006, took over 10,000 photos with it, and several years later gave it to my daughter in law who still uses it. 15 years of flawless use. Don't let anybody's subjective opinions of a camera's build quality influence your decisions.
