A unique advantage for Thom is he has deep experience with Canon and Sony cameras, but I cannot think of anyone else with going on 3 decades hands on experience with Nikon cameras and writing ebooks, besides educational tours.

It also helps he shoots sports at college level professionally. So relates to the main genre for which Nikon design their flagship cameras

Brad Hill is a highly experienced and indeed excellent wildlife photographer and distinctly obsessed with Nikon gear. He is also testing a prototype Z9 and drilling into the minutiae where it matters in the wild. His blogs are an invaluable resource especially for reviews of exotic lenses.

Steve Perry is indeed another - his autofocus ebooks are a bargain IME, and he does useful videos. He was originally Canon, then centrally Nikon and last year he added Sony to meet educational demands, including his wildlife tours and workshops etc,

Perhaps Thom is the only one left who could do educational material on the Z9? I can't think of anyone else from a hard core wildlife viewpoint still with deep insight into Nikon mirrorless.
