I'm preparing for a first attempt at capturing a meteor shower on an M50 next week.  I believe the shower peaks at 2 am EST on 12/15 (Wed morning).  The gibbous moon sets at 4 am which should allow for a couple of hours of imaging in dark, moonless skies.

I've got a power bank and a USB cable attached to a dummy LP-E12 battery, so hopefully won't run out of power.

I've ordered a cable to connect my iPhone to the M50's micro-USB port and plan to download Cascable to use as an intervalometer.

I'll be using a Rokinon 12 mm f/2 lens on a tripod, so will be limited to about 30 second exposures.

Advice from those who've done this before would be appreciated!
