Size does matter to me. A lot. My R6 is best camera I’ve ever had, and together with 24-70/2.8 and 70-200/2.8 awesome combo. But big. I use it all the time professionally, and sometimes personal work too but not very often because of the size and weight.

Luckily I have small Olympus with 12-45 f4 and soon 20mm (40mm equiv.) f1.4 lens. That is my everyday carry.

I wish Canon did RF 50mm f1/4 L lens. Current f1.2 version may be the best of the best, but huuuge. RF 50mm f1.8 is lovely little lens but not weather sealed.

Aren't the 24-105 4-7.1 and 35 1.8 just as compact and faster on the RP than the 12-45 and 20 1.4 on m43?

I had the em5iii with the 12-45 and it's ok but nothing special iq wise?

Do you realise that if you select 4:3 ratio on a 3:2 sensor you automatically get a 1.125x crop, so the RF 35 1.8 on the RP/R6 in 4:3 ratio is a 40mm f2 lens! I like the 4:3 ratio a lot and it's one of the reasons I chose R5 for it, Nikon milc does not support it which is annoying.

You'll get a lot more out of the 24-105 lens than the 12-45 too due to the 3:2 ratio of the R6/RP sensor? One thing I don't like on m43 sensor is when you crop to 3;2/16:9 ratio for landscape you really lose resolution, like <18mp, which can be a problem for larger prints! With a 3:2 sensor you also get the full 24mm horizontal aov, with 4:3 its a bit less, so the 12mm is something like 24.5mm converted too and f8 constant, whereas the 24-105 is 4-7.1!

Different tools for different jobs. Neither RP nor 24-105/4-7.1 (or any of RF 1.8 primes) are weather sealed so that rules them often out.

Besides Canon R6 and some awesome RF L-lenses - and Olympus - I also own RP + RF 50mm f1.8. Nice little combo, but no WR so my usage is limited because of that.
