M10 Monochrom and Adapted Lenses

Hi,

With the percentage of B+W conversions I do steadily rising, I find myself thinking of an M10 M.  Because I would obviously be declaring bankruptcy soon thereafter, I'm hoping to use my nice collection of Pentax FA Limiteds from the film era.

I think I understand the essence of the M system's tradeoffs, but I want to make sure that adapted lenses (using a dumb adapter) will meter correctly and still be able to use the little split screen focusing aid.  Any Pentax-Leicans here?  Anyone else using adapted lenses who can shed some  light on this?

Of course, I'm open to any other guidance you might have for someone thinking about buying into the system.  Thanks!

Adam
