RX100 M6

A week ago I got my M6 and all I can say I'm pretty fascinated. Before I was using several Nikon DSLR's but I have had enough of carrying a heavy bag with me so this is one really nice piece of camera.

I'm still getting to know the camera but one think I can't found/Google is Control wheel (rear wheel) and it's function.

I'm using front Control ring for chaining aperture and I see that control wheel can be used for both aperture or shutter speed. I'm using it for shutter.

What bothers me is that control wheel is in function for changing shutter speed only when AF point is "fixed".

Is there any option which allow to use control wheel for shutter speed all the time, even when Flexible spot is active?
I set center button to "Focus standard" so I can quick get back to chaining focus point position (I'm using Flexible Spot).
But when I rotate control wheel and Flexible Spot is active (so I can move it) it's function is changing Flexible spot size (S,M,L) not shutter speed.
Than I have to fix AF spot (in my case with center button) and only after that I can control shutter speed again.

Thank you!
