Light show at Christmas time
21

Seasky International Light Show at Niagara Falls, Canada. The style of light display is identical to the "Chinese lantern festival" light show in Toronto I visited a few years back, therefore looks like it is organized by the same company. This is a walk-through event. Admission is rather steep (CAD 33.57 with a 15% discount promo code), and it is not as big and well organized as the Pumpkinferno show at Upper Canada Village. However, it is still better than all those drive-thru light shows since the pandemic began. It is also better than the annual Festival of Light currently held at Niagara Falls - although this is a free event, the light displays are scattered over many locations, and the displays repeat year after year getting rather boring.

I brought a tripod along but did not use it, because the ground was muddy (it rained yesterday) and the displays were bright enough for handheld shots (set to max. ISO 800). Most of them turn out OK, looks like the dual IS on the GX9 works pretty well. The light weight and compact size of the gear also help with getting steady shots.
