Watson Duo Charger: Accidentally misplacing batteries?

I have a Watson Duo Charger and have now acquired battery plates to mount NP-95 (3.6V LiIon batteries) and NP-W126 (7.2 LiIon batteries), for my different Fujifilm cameras.

I just noticed that the battery plates are almost identical, both the battery terminal pins and the slot dimensions that accept the different types of batteries. This means that it is easy to accidentallly connect the NP-95 battery in the NP-W126 plate and vice versa.

Now, do any of you have this setup and do you know if my batteries will be adversely affected if I accidentally put them into the wrong slots? Or does the charger sense this and somehow respond (adjust the voltage, shut down,...)?
