Extension tubes with 200-600 mm lens

With my Neewer branded extension tubes, the 10 mm tube worked fine with the lens. But when I used the 16 mm tube, the camera couldn't communicate with the lens (no aperture information displayed, no AF). Tried detaching and replacing the extension tube several times, but no lock.

I then tried the 16 mm tube with a different lens (55/1.8) and there was no problem. Tried it again with the 200-600 mm and it now worked!

Then tried the 10 and 16 mm tubes stacked, and again no communication. Tried it on the 55/1.8 and no problem. But still no luck trying again with the 200-600.

Anyone else used extension tubes with the 200-600? I presume I just need to buy some better quality ones, if anyone has any suggestions.

Dave
