Testing my lenses with my Z9...
1

So is about 2 weeks before the Z9 comes out of the gate. I was just thinking what the order of testing for my lenses. Here are my thoughts....

Out of the box I will take the battery (fully charged) from my D4s and load it up to my Z9, install my 50mm f1.8S and shoot some things around the house....set it up like Back Button AF, etc....How fast is the AF in moderate lighting, bright lighting (I have never shot above 1/8000sec....and later that night low light shooting (how good is that IBIS).

Should I even worry about AF Fine Tuning? Naaaah!

Next change lens to :

Tamron 150-600 G2 with FTZ adapter, for some birds (Bolsa Chica Wetlands) or some surfers at the beach

then Nikon 500 PF with FTZ adapter... for some birds (Bolsa Chica Wetlands) or some surfers at the beach with 1.4 TCIII and 2.0TCIII ?

then change to the Nikon 200-500 with FTZ adapter..... TCs?

then the Tamron 150-600 G1with FTZ adapter...

then test my 70-200 VRII with FTZ adapter and with or without TCs...

then test my 105 f1.4E (can't use a TC with this lens)

Next would be my Tamron SP 90mm F2.8 macro (firmware updated)

then my 14-24mm f2.8G with FTZ adapter

then my 24-70mm f2.8G with FTZ adapter

then my Tamron SP 35mm f1.4 with FTZ adapter

I also have the 50mm f1.4G but I do not like that lens....

I might have to take a few days vacation just for testing my lenses with my Z9.... it will be interesting... any other suggestions are welcome.

I hope it is a Merry Christmas!
