Shots that do nothing on a phone :(

I know I've mentioned this before, but it kills me that I try so hard to make shots with a lot of interest and detail, and then like 90% of the viewers will only see it on a dinky little phone screen anyway

So I took this shot a few weeks ago, and IMPO, it's one of the best shots wildlife shots I've taken in quite a while ! I loved the beautiful low light right straight behind me... I loved the fall colors of the BG, I loved the reflection of the Snow Geese in the water, in spite of the ripples....

But this shot got very little attention on the FB birding pages I go to. It kind of perplexed me a little, but then I got to thinking, if one were viewing this on a phone, they would probably be like, "What are all those white dots, anyway" ?

The shots they like best, always seem to have one large subject, right in the middle of the screen. Figures.

Anyway, since I assume more of you look at photos on an actual monitor, I'll post a nice sized file of this shot here (as large as it will let me)
