Calibration tools for Mac

I am helping out a Mac user who just bought a Macbook Air M1 and a Benq PD2705Q. The color and brightness is quite different than their old iMac 27" and they are no longer getting consistent print results using the same workflow. They have tried the Benq mac setting and several of the profiles built into the monitor. It generally looks brighter and more saturated than the iMac. Also tried a Mac OS color calibration but it didn't do much.

Time to step up to a color calibration hardware I think. I have limited experience with Windows and Spyder 4 and I need a recommendation for Mac. What is the easy, effective and reasonably cost effective solution?
