Old 80-200 2.8 AF-S and FTZ compatability?

I have a old 80-200 AF-S, a Z6, a Z50, and the original FTZ. I read somewhere that the old 29-70 and 80-200 AF-S lenses  burn out the FTZ. I know that nikon has moved away from the motors used on that series but are those two lenses essentially incompatible or overly harsh on the FTZ. I'd like to use at least the 80-200, if not both lenses, on the Z6 until I build the rig I want but I don't want to destroy the FTZ either.
