10bit Color Depth in Windows OS

I'm looking at monitors currently and it has sparked the question for me what my expectations should be with running a Nvidia GTX 1050ti on a 10bit monitor? I know I have the option to run the 'Studio' drivers (vs gaming drivers). That supposedly allows for running 10bit color. I can't test that on my current monitor, however.

It's such a relatively obscure setting to turn on from what I have seen online it makes me wonder how many people buy a 10bit monitor and never realize that they aren't supplying it with 10bit signal.

I've seen it touched upon that Adobe handles the 10bit color differently somehow. How much of a PIA is it to set it and forget it?

Does Windows 11 do anything differently in this regard by chance?
