Is SD card speed a factor in BIFs?

I am currently shooting on a G9 with a Lexar 256 GB Professional 633XSD card loaded (Class 10, UHS 3). Using (mostly) “bird detect “, CAF, medium burst, shutter speed 1600-2500, I am getting around an 80% hit rate. How significant is card speed in this scenario? Would a faster card improve my rate? Would a slower card diminish it?
