I've been taking some really nice compositions with the wide-angle lens on my smartphone and I want to get the same wide-angle shots with my Sony NEX-6 because the image quality from the phone isn't that great.

I'm guessing that I'll need a 10mm. I've found that the 16mm isn't that wide. Is 10mm fish-eye?

There could be 10mm fish eye lenses.  I don't know if any are made for the E mount.  Even if rectilinear, 10mm is very wide so one would need to be cautious.  Things like converging verticals with tilt, or perspective distortions can require more attention.

The manual aps-c  Samyang/Rokinon 12/2 is popular.  I have one.  Didn't use it much but that was more situation/opportunity as opposed to not liking it.

I'm also wondering if I should go full-frame instead of trying to go so low in focal length on an APS-C sensor.

I can afford up to £200 for a lens. Is that realistic?

If budget sensitive, full frame tends to be more expensive.
