Well if you got it for $1200 that is the price I’m interested in. Can you share where you bought it from?

That was the Black Friday price from B&H, in 2019.  So, literally, they had a better deal when the camera was newer, than they do now.  So, really can't help you now.

That said, if you already have a Canon camera, you could get pretty close to that price, by getting a refurb R, and calling in for a loyalty discount.
