A1000 vs CPA - Final round
6

I have compared the IQ between the A1000 and CPA in different scenarios.

As expected, the bigger sensor and better lens on the CPA produce better IQ than the A1000 in all scenarios.

I would like to conclude this comparison by showing the best that I could get from the A1000. For still subject and in reasonable light, the A1000 can match the IQ of the CPA very well.

Without checking the File Information, it would be hard to tell the difference between these two images.

I needed to use f/5 with the A1000. The shutter speed at f/8 would be too low for me to get a sharp image handheld. I could just manage 1/5 sec at f/5.

I always set the CPA to f/8, which is the sweet spot of the lens.

A1000 - handheld with VR turned OFF.

CPA - handheld, the bigger sensor handled ISO 400 very well
