Fujifilm Camera Durability
8

One of my X-T1 bodies has gone bad on me, it is acting up intermittently so I'm putting in RIP mode because I'm not using it during actual photoshoots anymore. It started going out of wack during a paid photoshoot and that was kind of embarrassing but thankfully my customer was nice and waited for me to get my Nikon D4 instead.

I have tried different things, cleaning it, resetting everything, but I have confirmed that the electronics in the camera is going bad. They are so inexpensive used so I'm pretty sure is not worth it fixing it so I'll just keep it for spare parts.

Believe it or not, I have been using this little sucker for quite a long time, I think I purchased it around four years ago, used! I don't have an exact number, but I'm pretty sure I alone have taken more or less 200,000 photos with it. I have used it a LOT almost in each photoshoot and events I've done. I actually just purchased another used one in mint condition with one year warranty included. The X-T1 with battery grip has been a truly dependable workhorse in my camera kit and I'm thankful for that.

If this used $300 camera lasted me such a long time with such use I would think and hope that the newer $1000+ cameras should last even longer.
