Panasonic has updated it's lens roadmap.

The wide angle zoom has switched from "large aperture wide zoom" to just "wide angle zoom" (when translated). I suspect the lens is now being targeted to compliment the lightweight and cheaper options of the 20-60 & 70-300, similar to how the 18mm will now be in the affordable 1.8 line.

What range would you like to see covered? Personally, I think a 12-20mm 3.5-5.6mm around the size of the 20-60 would be nice.

I hope Panasonic will not cover Sigma (2.8/14-28) but decide to bring anything different to the l-mount. I would prefer something like a 4-5.6/10-18 with top quality. From laowa we know such a lens is possible. Could also be quite small…
