Zeiss Batis 85 f1.8 vs Sigma 85 f1.4 DG DN Art for Sony a7Riv

Hi All,

I am confused between Batis 85 f1.8 and Sigma 85 f1.4 DG DN.

Target requirement: Sharp enough to resolve 60Mp, fast autofocus, good colours

1. How much does f1.4 vs f1.8 make a difference (for portraits, kids photos, etc.)?

2. Does Batis OS help, given a7Riv has IBIS?

3. Is Batis sharp enough for 60Mp?

4. Batis is about $200 cheaper than Sigma  (where I live)

5. Does 'Zeiss colour pop' trump Sigma's overall benefits (higher f-stop, extra buttons on lens, I dont care much for Aperture ring, but might be useful for occasional videos, 5yrs old batis vs 1year old Sigma).

Zeiss batis just looks amazing and solidly built (based on video reviews), there is this aura around Zeiss lenses, will that matter here?

PS: I ruled out Sony 85mm f1.8 FE (and other budget offerings), just want to go with better build-quality and weather sealed.
