Zoom H6. A good friend is a musician and she needed a nice set for session recording. I use it whenever I need to have, for example, 2+ talkers and ambient sounds or when recording live events that can be pre-set. It helps with eliminating background noise, cleaning the audio, etc, plus it's a fantastic recorder, if pricey.

H4 is best avoided since it will drift significantly for longer sessions, not sure about H4n or pro, but H6 does not have this issue. I rarely use more than 4 channels (but often more than 2) and H5 would probably be completely fine. At work I have a semi-professional mix setup, but I cannot remember when I last used it, Zoom is that good.

It's funny how people often go for 1/2 stop more dynamic range, which barely anyone can notice, but use terrible audio which anyone can. It's like obssesing with resolution, barely anyone can tell the difference between the quality 2k and 4k, but bad colors will stand out like a finger to your eye.
