Small is beautiful
1

The whole point of the camera is to be small. For street photographers, small is beautiful, less conspicuous, easy to use for quick changing scenes. If the camera is to be built with full frame, IBIS, etc I might as well use my Canon 5D mk4 rather than my X100f.

One suggestion which has been given to Fuji is to focus on output from the camera. In camera AI is where the new battleground is moving. People love the images from smart phones and iPhones, AI reigns supreme in the phone camera format.

Also better wifi connectivity with an app that is reliable. I should be able to use my phone to trigger the camera so I can hold it at chest level, see the image on my phone and get the shot, with folks around unaware the pic has been taken. And easier more effective transfer of files to the phone so they can be distributed immediately if so desired.

Many of us want more film simulation choices, not full frame, why do you need it? And you don't really need IBIS with a 23mm lens or 35mm equivalency. With X100 series, ISO results when pushed higher and higher produce decent results. Set your camera on manual, set a shutter speed of 1/100 and an f stop of 5.6 and ISO to auto, and you will have decent images.

And the 100V is a move in the Leica direction.  Fuji knows the X100 series is referred to as the poor man's Leica.  I think there is going to be a movement to make the next couple in the series to look more and more Leica like. And street photographers love their Leica's.

If the camera becomes larger, might as well stick a 23mm on an X T4 (or higher when the come out) and go take street photos.

Small is beautiful.
