Getting older means for me getting lazy to take my good camera when traveling, taking more photos done with iPhone... Thinking to give up lovely but big full frame Canon R with 35mm to compact and stylish x100. I already touched one, gave to my daughter x100T for b-day few years ago. I like rangefinder design and simplicity.
So, questions... What do you think about upcoming X100 version? What to expect, reasonably? I would like to see full frame sensor but looks unrealistic. I would love to see native b/w sensor but looks not-even-dream-about-it. Better lens? Better sensor? Titanium alloy body? I appreciate any opinion, shared
Why worry about what's next? The X-100-V is excellent. Just get an inexpensive monopod, forget about IBIS and enjoy it.
With all due respect, having to lug around a monopod is not the same. Fuji needs IBIS in everything moving forward, and also to help sales. As one sales guy told me, it's way easier to sell a camera with IBIS than one without, and an increasing number of customers are asking him for it.
I agree. The next iteration of this camera would have to have either a 36+mp sensor and/or IBIS for me to upgrade. I'm certainly not going to carry around a monopod these days (been there, done that, decades ago).

Above $2500 cameras tend to become increasingly specialized, making it difficult to select a 'best' option. We case our eye over the options costing more than $2500 but less than $4000, to find the best all-rounder.
There are a lot of photo/video cameras that have found a role as B-cameras on professional film productions or even A-cameras for amateur and independent productions. We've combed through the options and selected our two favorite cameras in this class.
