Autofocus speed with Viltrox EF-EOS M Adapter
1

I'm considering the EOS M50 Mark II as a camera for my travels and for basketball (nothing pro, just my son). I already know that a 50 mm fixed lens is good in my case (I used a Sony A6000 in the past with a 50 mm lens, and it fit perfectly that job).

But autofocus speed is very important in that case (for basketball).
I know that the EOS M50 isn't bad at all about autofocus speed, but I'm afraid it could get worse in case I use the the Viltrox EF-EOS M Adapter + a lens like Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM.

The alternative could be the Viltrox 56mm f1.4 EF-M mount, but it's more expensive (because about Canon lenses I see there's a big second hand market, too) and it's a lens that will be linked only to this EF-M lens mount, with a smaller market and maybe even uncertain future.

Do you have any experience or criticism about the EOS M50 Autofocus efficiency and speed when you use the Viltrox Adapter?
