I agree. The 14-35 mm is a fantastic lens, it produces visibly sharper and better looking images on the R5 than the EF 16-35 mm f/4, with the added bonus of its small size and close up capabilities. The only problem with shooting at 14 mm is with Capture One, which doesn't have a lens profile at the moment. Photos taken at 14 mm look fabulous in both Lightroom and DxO, very sharp even in the corners, just a little softness in the extreme corners, which is a non-issue for most people.

I'm betting we never see the samples. Not sure what happened here, but it's an excellent lens.
